Hi! My name is Coryn. I am 26 years old and asking for help with my teeth. I have had bad teeth for years. I have a picture of myself from when I was 11 years old and that is the last picture where my teeth look halfway decent. I have done everything I could over the years to help my teeth. I've been in the dentist's chair since I was two years old. I have done flouride treatments. Every tooth in my mouth has had work done to it. I am always in need of something else to be done to my teeth. I am going to post pictures of my mouth (gross)! I would post x-rays but I dont know if I can get them. I will ask. I have very sensitive teeth. I can't have ice in my drink unless I have a straw. I cant eat hot food, it has to me luke warm. I can't even use regular toothpaste because it is painful. I have to use sensitive toothpaste. I have no molars on the bottom left side of my mouth. The two molars on my bottom right side are all metal filling, the only tooth that I have left on those is what is under the gums. One of those molars is in need of a root canal but they have told me not to get one since that tooth will be pulled anyways. On my top right side my last molar is in pain due to a root dying. It is getting pulled in a couple of days. My teeth are not white anymore, they are more yellow. My teeth don't even match in color due to all the work I have had over the years. I can't eat anything too hard or else I take a chance that it will break a tooth. My teeth are very brittle. It is nothing to have one just crack and break off. I have teeth that have holes, gaps and/or breaks in them. How they don't hurt, I dont know! You would think if you had a hole in your tooth it would hurt. I dont like to smile in pictures because of my teeth. Over the years I have picked up the habit of covering my mouth when I laugh or smile big because I dont want people to see my teeth.

My regular dentist has sent me to another dentist that does more permenant work on repairing teeth like mine. I can't get implants on the side that I have no molars without a bone graph (sp?). Instead I will have to have a bridge and only have one molar on each side instead of two. I have to have crowns and caps put on all of my other teeth. This is an investment for life for me. It will change my life. I will actually have pretty teeth and be able to smile with no shame! The new dentist said that once I have this done that I will probably just have to get my teeth cleaned twice a year and that's it! That would be a dream come true for me. The only bad thing about all of this is the price. We are talking about this costing as much as a new car. I almost fell out when I heard him say that it would cost right at $1,000 a tooth. BUT this is to fix my teeth for life. That's great and all but I am not rich! My credit is not in good shape due to my ex-husband. grrrr That is a whole different story! So, I cant just go out and get a loan for this. Getting this done isnt really something that you can do tooth by tooth. It is something that you should do multiple at a time. I would greatly appreciate any and all help. What goes around comes around. I will be grateful and in debt to anyone who chooses to help me. Thank you :)
